YTB “High Saditty Shit!” Cinco De Mayo BBQ/1 year Anniversary Recap!

Last Saturday the Yours Truly Boutique was a full house for our 1 year store anniversary celebration. The day of the dead was definitely a live one for everyone that attended the backyard BBQ Bash!

With music by DJ Chad Dubz, and our keg on full blast it was a memorable night of fun. Thank you for everyone that helped make this night possible and that came out to celebrate with us!

Also thank you to our dedicated customers that have been coming by the store since our baby days; and to all our new customers, we love you as well! Thanks for your support and we hope you guys continue to watch us grow.

If you missed this party, don’t cry. It’s summer time and this was just a preview of what’s to come. Stay tuned, our next event is going to very soon and ever bigger!

Casey Veggies Comes to the Shop

After killing it Wednesday at SOB’s, Casey Veggies and his crew paid a visit to Yours Truly this past Saturday to shoot a video with The Kickdrums. The song is called Thieves in the Choir, and can be found on The Kickdrums’ album, Follow The Leaders. Between ski masks, continuous blunts, “go-go juice” and a few babes, I’d say the shoot was a success. It was cool chilling with the Peas and Carrots fam in between the shoot, they’re definitely chill people to be around. We’ll be posting the video soon. Come by the shop to pick up a copy of Casey’s new project,Customized Greatly Vol.3!

She’s Just Not That Into You…

Okay fellas, I think it’s time to set the record straight on how to tell if a girl is into you or not. There are a few key things to pay attention to. First off, if she has a crush on someone else, you most likely don’t have a chance. Second, if she never returns your phone calls/texts, but you see her on every social network, she doesn’t have much to say to you. If she always sounds irritated when you guys are talking, she is most likely annoyed with you. If she straight up tells you “omg you’re so annoying lol,” she’s most likely not joking. This definitely goes for ladies as well, guys send the same signals when trying to steer a girl away. Ladies, if he always cancels on you, but calls you around 2 in the morning, he’s obviously not that into you. I won’t go too deep into all the signals that are indirectly given, but the list definitely goes on and on. What I’m trying to say is, pay attention to hints and read in between the lines. More tips and advice will be coming soon, there is so much more to teach you guys!

Azealia Banks Coachella Performance

Aside from Tupac’s guest surprise, there were other great performances during Coachella’s first weekend. New York’s own Azealia Banks got the chance to grace the stage this year, and who better to dance for her than YTB’s own Layna “E-Money” Lopez! And of course she did her thang! Tupac Steals The Show At Coachella 2012

A lot of new artists graced the stage at Coachella this past weekend. This year everybody was in for a surprise when Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performed alongside a hologram version of Tupac Shakur. Not only was it weird that he appeared on stage with Snoop, but he also greeted the audience saying “What the f*ck is up Coachella?!” before he started rapping. Although fans were shocked and probably a little confused, they still sang along as the “resurrected” Tupac performed the classic “Hail Mary”. All I’m saying is, let that man rest in peace!
